We specialize in a variety of large-format printing methods including rigid-materials printing, flexible-materials printing, fabric-printing, and canvas-printing. We have established an experienced sales, marketing, and design team. JOB DESCRIPTION
Butterfly Graphics and Printing is currently seeking a Large Format Print Specialist. The ideal candidate should be confident in their skill set, a quick learner, works well under pressure, and an effective problem-solver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Laminating, Mounting, Routering, Trimming of Graphics and Various Finishing Techniques
– Printing on diverse large format machines
– Pre-flighting customer files
– Communication with clients, vendors, and technical support, using both verbal and written formats
– Coordinate with other team members and departments to ensure streamlined operations
– Maintain clean and organized work environment
– Effectively process jobs and create schedules based on job quantity, production time, stock, size and colour
– Colour Management, and quality control of clarity, colour and specifications of printed jobs
QUALIFICATIONS
– Organizational and problem solving skills in a fast-paced environment
– PDF workflow experience and ability to operate a large format printer
– Ability to multitask over multiple computer screens and projects
– Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
– Have good colour matching and accuracy skills
– Work independently with little or no supervision and as a team with the other departments
– Experience with large format printing, including fabric printing and dye sublimation
– High School Diploma
– Excellent command of the English language and good math/reading skills
– Be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, bend down, and reach up
– Have work safety as a priority
